Christ of the Pacific, is a monument of 37 meters with The latest technology in lighting, was opened in Lima overlooking the Pacific Ocean.


With the latest technology in lighting adds a touch of mystery and modernity, presents a range of 26 colors that change according to the celebrations or simulates the color of the sun at sunrise or sunset among others ....
 
The huge concrete structure represents the image of Christ with outstretched arms ready to embrace semi.


 A monumental statue of Christ similar to the Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro, was inaugurated on June 29, 2011, in the Morro Solar Chorrillos district of Lima and is called The Crist of Pacific

The figure of 37 meters high, will have a lighting system of 26 different colors that will light up every evening along the coast of the city and its location can be seen from all over Lima.
"I want to be a figure to bless and protect Lima Peru," said President Alan Garcia Perez.


Millions of people across the Costa Verde Lima Bay will see the lighted image permanently and feel protection and blessing of Christ through the figure.

The sculpture has a base of 15 meters of pure concrete (which in turn is a viewpoint where you can appreciate the majesty of the Pacific Ocean) and the figure itself is 22 meters high, covered with a layer of acrylic to protect from moisture.
